Reclaiming Your Sexuality

Sex Positive Parenting Circle

Sex Positive Parenting Circle

Person with red hair raising arms in a dense forest.

A 6 week therapy and movement group experience for getting connected to your body, your sexuality, your relationality and your pleasure while in a connection with other humans in a safe container.

Sex Positive Parenting Circle

Two girls holding a toddler's hands walking down a road.

If you're wanting space to talk about how to parent through topics of: sex, gender, relationships, and bodies - this is the space for you.

The research is pretty clear: talking about sex honestly and openly, at age appropriate levels, with your kids prevents many negative outcomes around sexuality and promotes healthier relationships.

These can be difficult topics to broach and we often end up feeling isolated in how we handle them.

This circle will include some education pieces, but will mostly a therapeutic space for engaging with like-minded parents around complex topics. Parents of children of all ages are welcome.

Virtual: Tuesday August 18th - 5:30-7:30

Wednesday August 26th - 5:30-7:30

$60

Covered by insurance, sliding scale or exchange welcome

Psychedelic Therapy Info Circle

Camping fire pit burning bright with wood.

Have you been hearing things about psychedelic therapy and you're getting curious? Wondering what it means to microdose, or macrodose, or what a "hero's" dose means?

Are you someone who has done it and want to share your experience? Curious about what is coming next?

I would love to hold space for a circle of questions, sharing, curiosity, and experience around what this is and what it can be in our community.

We are always looking for more, and new ways to heal and to build new relationships with ourselves and those around us.

Let's gather under the full moon (or maybe inside because we live in Saskatchewan) and talk about all things connected to psychedelic therapy.

Dance Classes

A place to remember that we can dance for ourselves, that our bodies are ours, and that community is built when we are open and vulnerable and raw. Bring your sass, your ass, all of your gender expressions, your body with all of its wiggles and jiggles and curves and cellulite. Wear your heels or don't. Wear what you feel most comfy moving in.

No dance experience required.

Possible Workshops

Healthy Sexuality for all Genders

Have a group of folks of any age that want to learn about their body, their sexuality, and how to have great sex? Have questions about healthy sexuality? Want basic sexual health information about how to stay safe and connected? Let me build a workshop for your needs!

Substance Use, Harm Reduction and Connection

Understand more about a harm reduction, trauma-informed approach to substance use. As Johann Hari famously shares: "The opposite of addiction is connection." Learn how to approach substance use with curiosity, non-judgement and compassion, so that folks do not feel more alienated or disconnected from community.

Body-based therapy

Our bodies hold much of our resilience as well as our trauma. When the conditions are right - i.e. when we feel safe enough - our bodies know exactly what to do and what we need. I would love to share knowledge and tools for getting safely into our bodies and exploring how to move through the trauma that we are holding.

Self-Care as Resistance

We all need a reminder to take care of ourselves sometimes, but do we ever get those reminders in real, tangible ways? Let's explore the idea of self-care as resistance to the systems in which we live *capitalism, patriarchy, colonialism, heteronormativity*. And take away some healing goodies for ourselves.

Decolonizing De-Escalation Training

Learning how to de-escalate situations can help keep us all safer. The issue is that de-escalation often leaves out discussion of power dynamics, and offers fear-based approaches that fall flat when we are dealing with other human beings. This workshop helps to go deeper - giving us tools for staying connected when we are sensing a shift in energy, strategies for ensuring the safety of everyone in our community, and examines narratives of whose safety we have been taught to prioritize. It helps us uncover our internalized biases so that they are not dictating who we fear and who we deem safe. Let's connect and have real conversations about safety, fear, policing and learn how to build better relationships and communities.

Got another idea?

I'm always open to creative collaboration. If you want something a little bit different, or you want to work together, reach out - let's do it!
